TRILOGY

A trilogy of videos shaped by a decisive moment — leaving my country and record my first album. Each piece reflects a different stage of that transition, revealing the internal and external movement behind the music, where sound becomes a way of navigating the unknown.

Becoming

“Pixie Dust” is the first part of a video trilogy released on YouTube. The piece evolves in cycles, echoing recurring thoughts in a process of self-discovery, set within a desert that is both real and symbolic. In this space, I confront my own limits, seeking to understand and move through them — because it is by crossing this internal boundary that new possibilities emerge.

Mirror

“Blackthorn” is the second part. It represents an encounter with a reflection that transcends time and space — a journey through parallel dimensions, where another version of myself emerges from the shadows of the past and quietly suggests a path forward. The music unfolds and breaks in unexpected ways, like unpredictable waves that reveal and conceal hidden layers. It becomes a silent search for origin and direction — a dialogue between who I was, who I am, and who I am becoming.

Resonance

“Back Flip” is the final piece of the trilogy. Recorded between New York and Rio, it captures the meeting of two identities — the jazz musician and the malandro — distinct in context, yet resonating on the same frequency. Here, the freedom of jazz meets the swing of samba and the ancestral pulse of the African drum. It becomes a celebration of improvisation, rhythm, and the ability to recognize oneself in the other, beyond borders.
